Problem playing ASF videos

I have downloaded some ASF videos, they are probably recorded from TV, and the thing is none of them will play on Winamp 3, and maybe 10% will play on Windows Midia Player (7.1). The videos came in ZIP and RAR files, extracted without problems. Using Winamp some will be upside down and with terrible sound quality, and others won't play at all, and in WMP it won't work at all (except those 10% that work fine - but still won't play on winamp). WMP works fine for me, and I have downloaded codecs (Divx5, mpg4vki, AVIcod109) but it won't change anything. What can I do???

You might wanna try this media player and see if it will work and play asf files.

Also, the Gordian Knot Codec Pack at Doom9.Org has a plethora of codecs that may help...just a thought

Thats prolly just the way the file is
