Media My Home Theater Personal Computer (HTPC) System

Hello all, I will try to make this as brief as possible. I have a MSI Mainboard with a P4 2.0 Ghz Processor, one Gig of DDR RAM, a Soundblaster Live Platinum sound card with a 80 gig 7200 RPM drive running WIN XP Pro. I want to be able to play my video games, watch television and do my work from my television set and a remote keyboard. I understand that I need a Video Card with these capabilities. Can I get decent quality picture with a Video Card that has tv out capabilities? I have done little research and would like some advice from everyone here. I am a Computer tech but a newbie when it comes to video card capabilities and gaming. Thanks for any help!

that could be a valuable resource for you

When I was wanting to build an HTPC system, I was looking at Radeon 8500 AIW cards and Leadtek solutions for a TV Tuner card.

Welcome to TechIMO
ATI has the All-In Wonders but they command a premium price for the 8500 and up series.
The Leadtek is a good quality card at a reasonable price, Newegg has it for a decent price and you can read what other people that bought this card have to say about it.

EDIT, It is the $51.00 card.

Yes but will the All-In Wonders give me the gaming satisfaction that is needed? I am willing to pay upwards of $200 for a great Video card with tv-out and dvd decoding abilities.
