Kids Looking for a switch for my Audigy Card...

Hiya all...

I have a SB audigy card and I use the FPS 2000 by cambridge (I know they're old heh) but I also like to use headphones on occassion. Now instead of having to go in the back and unplug one for the other everytime, I'd like to get a switch where Icould plug in both the headphones and the speakers. And then just switch between the two. Does that exist?

Also, when I use my headphones (SONY MDR-V100) the sounds in games are odd. Some things are very loud when they shouldn't be. I know creative doesn't give out the audio HQ anymore so I'm wondering if anyone knows any comparable software for my card.

Thanks!

Aha! Found it.

That should help. I usually leave my extension cable plugged into the headphone jack on my control pod and then plug in my earphones (lol I use KSC-50's but they're good enough...I could are less as long as I've got speakers) when I need them.

BTW, there's nothing wrong with using old speakers. Those look like a nice set, too. I know lots of friends who still use older Altec Lansing sets because they were actually good, unlike the new sets.

Thanks so much MD that's exactly what I was looking for!

And yes.. the FPS are actually VERY GOOD... But I've been wanting some Klipsch ever since they came out Though I read here about the problems with some of the 5.1's I do see that they have fixed it and made it right with customers. Big respect for Klipsch.

Thanks again... I just found a new site for hardware info!

Peace
