Systems A7N8X Deluxe video problem

Okay im stumped on this problem. i bought the A7N8X Deluxe 2.0 and it was working fine till this morning. about 8 am i heard the machine reboot and say now booting to operating system. then asus probe started to error out like crazy. i shut it down and went back to bed (mind you it was 8 am on a saturady no way i was gonna bother with it)

so i finally get up and start to play with. hrm no video.

so i reset the cmos, presto video is back. so i set the bios back to the way i like it and then reboot. well i hear the voice say now booting to os but no video! so i reset the cmos again and again tried it again. same results. so i thought hey what the hell update the bios. so i did that to the latest. and still does the same thing. reading around on other forums it seems to be problem with many people with no solution

im hoping someone has found a fix

I've had Asus Probe go crazy like that on my board..and it turned out the board was fried after I rebooted.

Have you tried another video card?

okay so woke up this morning and set everything in the bios. i left the cpu frequency alone and booted. worked fine. but i had no voice at start up. then i went in changed the cpu frequency to 133. booted up fine. no voice still. then i changed it to 166, i get voice saying booting to os, but not video! argh!

gonna change out the video now and if that doesnt work, buy new ram and test it out

Asus hasn't done a very good job with BIOS releases on the board...I know I've updated to the latest several times, hated it, and went back to an older one.

Have you adjusted the AGP voltage at all?
