putting cd music on computer

How can I get music off of a cd and put it on my computer. I would be nice to be able to do because that way I can just leave the cd in the car and listen off the computer when in the house.

i have WMP 9

Download Exact Audio Copy and rip them all straight to mp3 putting the "--r3mix" switch on and you'll be happy with the results, guarenteed .

Or you can use MusicMatch Jukebox which is free. Just tell it that you want to record the CD's. It is very simple and very fast. I believe that it will make them in an mp3 format. I most of the time just use RealJukebox (the old one not that new RealOne crap). MusicMatch I would say is the easiest.

Exact Audio Copy is in beta version and may have bugs. Why not use windows media player?

There are lots of free ones out there. You can try some and settle on one that suits you. Try looking in www.downloads.com or just do a google.
