AMD Techtour 2003
Hey yall.
I went to the AMD Techtour yesterday.
WAS SO COOL lol
they had MSI GIGABYTE AOPEN NVIDIA (a running 5900 FX system)
Biostar and a couple others.
One thing that disapointed me is that they didnt have a running Athlon 64 System. But damn that thing sounds promising.
At a FSB of 1600 MHz Intels gonna have something to mumble about hehehe. And thats only double buffered (or whatever they call it) where as the P4 is Quad buffered with 800 FSB.
Aopen was the only company there that actually had a Athlon 64 board there. Man that thing is gonna be so tiny.
They also had a Dual opteron rackmount. Im surprized how cool that thing was running, the sinks were fairly cool.
the first 64 is supposed to be released at 3400+ speeds, wonder hwo high theill go up.
But after that i changed my mind and am not gonna get a 3200+ Barton, and just wait for the 64.
Well just wannet to say something so l8ers all.
