Won't boot
OK here's my problem, I've got a p4vmm2 motherboard with onboard S3 graphics ProSavage ddr. I recently purchased (here's everything written on the box) an Asus v9280/td ti4200 8x video card. When I disable the onboard card, install the drivers for the new card, shut down, install the new card in it's agp slot, and try to reboot, my computer will not boot. I unplug, take out the new card, reboot, and it's fine. In 16 colors only, because I disabled the original video card. Then it tells me, New hardware detected, will insall now(the old onboard video card).
Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.
I've been into bios twice to try to see if I can disable the onboard card...nothing I can find helps.
I'm running Win2000 Pro, if that info helps

I'm learning!
I've downloaded the agp chipset drivers drivers and installed them. Now I'm going to go into bios to see if I can disable the onboard card...Wish me luck.

OK I'm back. I don't know where to look.
In PCI/Plug and play Setup, I've got the following info:
Plug and play aware o/s Yes
Allocate IRQ to pci vga Yes
Primary graphics adapter Agp
share memory size 32mb
In Advanced setup I've got:
agp mod 4x
agp comp. driving auto
agp aperture size 64mb
So, how do I disable the onboard card? I know I'm a pain in the ***, but I don't want to screw this up.
I see the onboard card is taking up 32mb off my 512mb ddr ram. I guess I'll have to set that to 0 after I disable it.
Thank you for any help!!!!
