DFI LANPARTY NF2 Won't Boot!!!

I just got this motherboard, and I was trying to reset the BIOS, via the jumper onthe motherboard. I assumed that it would just shut off when I remove the jumper, like my old motherboard did. I was in the BIOS setup, and removed the jumper, placed it on pins 2-3 and it stayed on. So, I shut it off and.. Now, It won't boot up, the diagnostic LEDs are all on and don't do a thing. I tested the ram, cpu, and video card in another computer and they all turn out fine. I also removed the battery, and power supply for a while and ti still won't boot up.

yeah don't do that. If you want to reset the bios while it is off put the jumper to pins 2-3 and leave it there for about 10 secs. Then put it back. You don't even have to power it up (leave it plugged in though).

As for your current prob I'd first try doing what I just stated above. If that doesn't work try unlpuggin all IDE devices, any memory not needed and reset again like I stated above. Now try. Anything?

Whoa!

Well... in my years of experience with PC's, to clear the CMOS you had to turn off your PC. Maybe you damaged the motherboard by doing that!

I know, I killed it.
Well, my Soyo KT333 Dragon Lite TURNS ITSELF OFF when the COMS reset jumper is removed from the normal position.
