Logo Resizing Help

Can someone tell me what I can do with THIS logo so that I can resize it up and down for different application without distorting it much.

When ever I try to put it on a webpage and resize it down 20% or so it starts to look crappy.

What can I do?

Send a message via ICQ to Creatures
you should resize it in a program, because resizing in browser looks sometimes really bad and it takes more bandwidth (ok not much )

Well, even when I resize it in photoshop it still makes it look bad. I was wanting to know if I need to make a vector or something out of it first. (but I don't know how if that is what I need to do)

I don't know how to do this in photoshop, but here's what I did in Paint Shop Pro. I blurred the picture first, then reduced it. You can see that this makes the picture look a lot better when reduced.
