P4 mobo recommendations? (NO sound)

Well, I'm looking to build a P4, and admit that I haven't stayed very current with Intel's latest and greatest. I'm looking for a Pentium 4 motherboard with no integrated sound that will offer support for the 533 bus speed, as I will probably save a little cost by going with 533 gear instead of 800mhz fsb. Integrated anything else oughtta be fine. Good DDR should come close to Rambus speeds, right?

Let me know what you think! Thanks!

EDIT : No integrated video, either!

A new motherboard without integrated sound. I think thats going to be pretty hard to do especially if you want a big brand like Asus or Gigabyte. I thought most boards come with at least some sort of basic sound? I have the Gigabyte 8IHXP(2.1). I think its a great board and is fairly descent with overclocking. A few months after I bought the Mobo, Gigabyte releaesd the 8IHXP(3.0) with better sound and a better bios.

You can get a board with onboard sound and just disable it...You don't find many boards without onboard sound anymore.

If you want a board with 533FSB its going to be the Intel 850e chipset. the gigabyte 8IHXP has the 533FSB. Asus makes a board too, but they have two different versions. One has this weird 232 pin 32 bit RDRAM.

Ok, so supposing I do get onboard sound and disable it, who makes the most stable board? Most likely it will have an Intel chipset.

Have a look at Abit---plus the onboard 6 channel audio is GREAT, might even be better then your present setup...
