Vertical and horazontal cooler fins.

Ok ya know how most heatsinks have fans going up and down vertical to let the heat esccape. I have a prttiy good current running through my case. If they were to be horazontal it could be blow right out of my case.
Anyone else ever think about this?

The only thing is that the Heatsink fan would be blowing down which is the best method from my experience. To mount it side ways and have the fan blowing right out of the case, you would have to flip the fan around which wouldn't do as well for cooling...
