Water Cooling!

This is it! I'm raising rank! I'm finally do it! It's happening!

Well, I'm getting water cooling. I've been looking around and it seems like pure awsomeness. If anyone have reasons to NOT goto water cooling please tell me, because as of right now I am addicted.

I've been trying to figure out the differences between the systems out there. I read the whole Tom'shardware guide to water cooling but that was written 1 1/2 years ago. What is going to be the difference between a $100 kit like this one, a $200 kit like this, and a $250 water cooled Case like this mama!

As always,
Thanks

unless you are overclocking , and i mean really pushing it , water cooled is a waste of money in my mind . it add alot of things that can go wrong into your system . but if you wanna you wanna . but it think it is overkill on a regular system .

That Thermaltake one isn't very great...according to reviews.

I'm in love with the Corsair Hydrocool

I've also been looking around to build my own system...doesn't look too complicated and can be a whole lot cheaper

I don't water cooling is a waste of time at all if you want to get rid of the noise...that's why I'm looking into it.

I have been considering it just for noise. I would love to have a fan free system. Although I think most of my noise is the PSU. I have a zalman and no case fans and still too noisy for me. Maybe I am just picky. Hmmm, a watercooled PSU......I think I have heard of that.

I am overclocking. I'm rebuilding a rig, and I'm looking for the Chip/mobo that will o/c the most!

Also, I HATE the noise. I have a SLK-800 and a 50CFM Sunon Fan. Along with 5 other fans (just to keep my o/c'ed 2400+ @ 45C) my computer keeps the dogs up at night with it's noise. I bought an Rheostat just so I could turn them down and sleep.

Now that we are all looking for a water-cooling solution. We need an expert to tell us where to look and what to look for.

As for the Thermaltake one, I heard some say it was GREAT and I heard some say it worked for two days and quit. I haven't heard any say that it works, yet sucks. Seems like if you get one that works, it works well.

Id go with the Swiftech as the components are milspec quality (ive toured the "factory" as its local to me, these parts are probably the finest produced)---it really isnt neccessary unless semi/absolute quiet is needed---I wouldnt watercool nowadays (especially if using a P4) unless I was using a pelt in conjunction with the cooling situation as the NEWEST coolers have proven to be both quiet and efficient if you choose correctly...
