i dunno man, try a vantec tornado... i think it puts out like 60 dB. i can't mount it to a heatsink for all the vibration it makes. its insane.

how many RPM can you get out of it? mine will pull nearly 8000!

I have that at 5400RPM and it's annoying as hell.
Thinking about switching to a Glacialtech Igloo Silent Breeze.

Oh the list is endless!
You have the Zalmans, neat full copper works of art. There are also the Swifttechs, using coils instead of fins.
If you want the ultimate in quiet, you could go with water cooling, lots of good kits out there.

I still say Glacialtech They're less than $20 at Newegg and I heard they work really well, and really quiet.

vantec aeroflow are nice . about 30$ and very quiet . the glacialtech igloo hsf 's are nice the igloo 2500 is pretty quiet . but if you want really quiet go with the igloo silent breeze 462 ... it is rated at 19BDA ....... you will never hear it .

It's just an XP-1700 that doesn't get used to do much more than surfing and word processing so I don't need a bunch of cooling, just something quiet.
