PSU Question

I have a Intel Pentium III 733mhz rig and is having troubles booting up. 100% sure its the PSU and the thiing is REALLY hot. If buy a new case that comes with a psu. (i.e. this one) where it says P4 & AMD comaptible, will it work in a P3 system?

Thanks

Yes. The PSUs that are compatible with Athlons and PIVs work with lower processors (well lower motherboards to be exact) as long as the motherboard is an ATX form and not AT. All PIIIs are ATX, afaik.

All the P4/Athlon compatibility means is that it's got the 4-pin motherboard power header and that it's capable of putting out a bunch of watts.
