Food Tiny laptop A360+ Fualty fan Read

hi i really need help finding a suplier for my laptop fan its not got a warrenty now so i have to replace this my self the model of the laptop is a A360+ notebook 1.1 ghz 512mb ram 30 gig hard drive

i know the problom was the fan becouse it was making a tinkiring sound befour it stoped spinning

so it must have been a michanical fault please could someone who has had a similar problom or knows any suppliers contact me thank you.

the laptop was built buy a compony called tiny when i called tiny they refered me to a 1 pounds a minite line which would be pointless for me.

i know someone but its £59 for fan

hey buddy i know who will replace your fan lison if you cant do it email me and ill give ya instructions on removing the old fan supposbly theres a fault with the laptop fan it dies after 18 months or more i called a guy at this place

and he says they do em but they wont old fan back plus £70 for new fan you send him broke one plus 60 or 70 call em and he will send you won that works

i hope i have helped you but there pritty dear anouther guy was doing them for £25 but hes stoped now so i hope you can find some one els cheeper

he says theyv had 8 people calling about the a360+ tiny laptop saying there fans have died its tiny there ripping of basterds sorry about my language

im going to buy a fan but have to wait till i save up.

I must be misundertanding you... £70!!!! for a fan!!!!
unless you're talking about the whole HSF unit this is a ridiculous price for just a little plasic fan!!!

i was gona just replace the moter with a difrant one hahahah but theres none small enouth to be honest but there was a guy who was doing em for £25 but he stoped he says hes had 7 calls in 2 weeks on the same model pritty bad does your laptop still switch on ok but fan wont spin

Thanks for your help locating the fan (joeontherun).

I went to the shop a few days ago and bought one, It took me 2 hours to fit it only to find that it didn't work. I found I was getting the 5 volts to the fan but It didn't have enough current to spin it. I obviously had a problem with the mainboard. I don't give up that easy so with some help from a good friend (peter) we took a 5 volt feed from the USB port (right side) and ran a cable to the fan. Now the fan stays on at full speed all the time, which isn't a problem.

I'm sorry I haven't posted anyhing previously but this is my only pc. putting my first post up was a miricle as I thought the cpu was going to melt as it had no fan.

If anyone needs any help on how to do it then feel free to contacy me.

Ps..... make sure the fan is actually broken before you buy a new one as it may just be the main board at fault.
