I put together my first computer last night! Well, kind of, I still don't have a monitor or video card One thing that confused me a bit were the front panel USB connections. I have a 4 pin connect (Vcc +/-, Data +/-, Ground) which matched up fine on te mobo, but what confused me was there was an extra split from the cable with a 1 pin labeled "ground." Do I plug that into the extra ground pin?

Hopefully, I can swipe my dad's monitor tonight and see if my machine works. Then, it's off to newegg to get me a 9700 Pro AIW

But as of now, it sure it purty to look at

Well, I checked the mobo, but unfortunately it doesn't say anything about it. Maybe i'll browse the abit forum

It's not going to specifically say front USB ports...it should tell you what goes where in the section that explains the USB headers on the board.

I'll fiddle around with it more tonight...I just hope the entire system powers up
