Painting a laptop?

Yeah i know saounds goofy as hell, but what if i bought one of the CLEVO machines that sager or amazing laptops sells...

and painted it like good old pay more alienware does?

anyone ever know someone whos tried this?

yeah.... figured it would have to be disassembled.... then the parts painted then re assembled

Some dealers of Prostar and Sager ( Clevo laptops ) where doing this but the problem was that the company that was painting them was not warranting the work. We looked into doing as well but ran into the same problem.

Very important. If you are going to try doing this on your own. Please be advised that with Prostar/Sager models if you open the case up you will in effect voding the warranty. This most likley the case with other vendors as well.

Alienware does not cost more because they "paint" their computers, the cost more because they are gaming systems and have enhanced graphics and proccessing speeds, so quit cracking on alienware, if u dont like it dont buy it, but quit whining about it
