Soundcards

Hey, can I get some prices on good sound cards for around 50 bucks? I've seen the M-audio Revolution and Santa Cruz and both look good.

If you can get the Santa Cruz for $50, jump on it. They are awsome cards. Check out places like NewEgg and Google Gear.

I've heard good things about the M-audio revolution as well. Is the Santa Cruz a better card?!?!

edit: Santa Cruz 60 bucks on newegg. Good deal.

revolution

it looks like the m-audio beats the santa cruz and audigy 2 in "numbers" but really your not going to hear the difference between a santa cruz and a revolution, and the revolution is 40 bucks more anyway.

Well, it's either of those. Depends on my dad's cash flow. These cards will no doubt beat my SBLive5.1 by a longshot, but why not make it longer and get the M-audio? I've been looking at reviews on that thing and all I can say is "holy crap"...why have I been using the SBLive for all these years again?!?! I really like the looks of the card, mainly the software, which looks AWESOME. Does the Santa Cruz have 24 bit? I can't find specs on it!

No, Santa Cruz is 16-bit. That's what I don't like about it. What's wrong with the Audigy cards?
