Odd error message on booting

I've got a Shuttle AK31 motherboard (running WinXP Home). A couple of months ago, I had to do a repair operation on the OS; with Microsoft tech support holding my hand, everything seemed to go pretty well, though I've still got a few problems I haven't got around to cleaning up. But I keep getting an odd error message on startup. Even though I've downloaded the latest Via drivers, I get this. What does it mean? It doesn't seem to create any problems, but I don't like it.

It sounds like you have changed a setting in the registry or deleted it with a repair, if it's not a problem then it's ok.
If it were, then you would back up and do a reinstall from there.

well my guess would be since it was not a reinstall but merley a repair it could be windows has some registry settings pointing somewhere that is not there, or somethign similiar. I'd say reinstall if you can.

Also you might look in msconfig (start/run/"msconfig") and check the two far right tabs to see if VIA is trying to load a program. Perhaps it was just removed when you did your fix
