Ok, are mobo's NICs just cheapo things, or is my case cursed (I'm about to solve that prob). My last mobo a Gigabites KT333 thingys onboard NIC died temporiliy. It just stopped working so I plugged in a PCI NIC and just figured what the heck. Well at a LAN party it started working again and I was like What the heck??? I was happy till I got home and the sound died so I RMA'd the mobo. Well I got a replacement KT400 which was much better then the one I had (thanks newegg

), but it was gigabites and I dont like them anymore so I bought an EPOX 8K9A2+ which is a rulz0r board! It has everything, but about 2 weeks ago its onboard NIC died as well!!!! So here I am in the same place with a second nic in.
These NICS just stop. Windows no longer detects them, and the lights are out. the bios has it enabled... Is it just dead? I didn't care really till I tried usuing RAID since I had to reformat any way do to the PATE virus, and a friends HD freaking my windows install out. The RAID BSOD's windows whenever I do anything except gaming. Games work fine but browsing the web or HD kills it...
Any way is it dead in your guys opinion? Should I RMA the board, this is just getting annoying. I'm getting a new case in a few days as well so the whole case curse thing should be over if thats the issue.
