Windows 2K Install Dies
Well I just got my hadrdrive formatted and Im trying to put Windows 2000 on it and when its done installing then goes to reboot itself it comes back up with just a black screen with the lil blinky underscore. Please help. "Update" I need some help with this I dont know what to do and Ive tried to reinstall it again but it does the same thing does anyone know what to do?

Well I just noticed what the text said after it say press any key to boot from cd. It flashes something about cannot find boot partition.... so maybe thats the problem and maybe someone could help me out with this...

I dont know...I formatted it with one partition full size with NTFS.

Oh ok, I though you may have had some complicated dual boot setup or something.

Also, is the drive just on the standard IDE controllers? Becuase if it is then I really have no idea, sorry.

Have you tried using the boot disk set?

Are your Hdd's on IDE1 (no raid card)
