Kids blue screen in games

hey i have an asus a7v333 mobo with athlon xp 2000(not oc'd), 768mb, 160gb raid0, geforce4 ti 4600 and running xp home.. i'm getting blue screen errors all the time when i play games, mostly enter the matrix and ut 2003.
Usually I can only play for about 30mins-1hr (seems to last a bit longer if i disable things like norton and zonealarm) before getting the error and it's always different.. sometimes it says my sound driver cmaudio.sys, sometimes usb, sometimes the videocard driver.. a few others.. sometimes it doesn't say anything. Also usually after my computer restarts, windows freezes after i hit any keys on the keyboard and i have to restart again.
Anybody have any ideas on what could be causing this?? it's getting exremely annoying..

I used to have the exact same problems until I replaced my generic RAM with some crucial. Trying running memtest86 on your ram to see if you get any errors

UT is a system hog so that might be why... VHockey is probably right about the RAM though.

What are the blue screen errors?

If it is a Page fault then I agree with the RAM, but if it something like IRQ not less or equal... then you may want to check for an updated video driver and/or game updates.

Being that it only happens with video games then it should be a RAM and/or video issue.

I'm with everyone else, ram or video...

but,

just out of curiosity....

what power supply are you using?

it seems like your system draws a lot of power.

make sure you have a good PSU.

usually it's just a STOP error.. neither the page fault nor the IRQ.. my psu is a silencer 400atx from pc power & cooling.. and all my drivers are updated

I did run the memtest though
for like 6 hours
and I got some errors

so it must be my ram
