Uninstall thru 2K or app program?

The "Add/Remove" programs in 2K is pretty much complete with all the programs. If I want to uninstall a program should I use the 2K uninstall or the program's uninstall?

Thanks,
Bill

I always go the Add/Remove Programs route. Alot of times, it brings up the program's internal uninstall utility. Unless, of course, it isn't listed. Then I go look in the proggy itself for an uninstaller.

I have often wondered why certain progs show up in the add/remove prog and some (read: MANY) do not. Often i have to resort to Norton or some such prog to get rid of many remaining parts the uninstaller leaves behind anyway...anyone else have similar experiences? any thoughts would be appreciated.
