probably just locked up on a page or something.
hit ctrl-alt-delete and end the task.

Already done that ctr-alt-del end task, sorted the problem but it wouldnt give me access to the task manager at first started to freak then up it popped, SORTED :-) ,so what do you think the problem was, maybe just internet explorer crashing, :-( . Do you know way microsoft OS try to connect to the internet, and if it wasnt for a firewall it would go unnoticed. Firewall message as it tries to connect,is remote host trying to connect, I put a block on it cause I dont now what it was.

Maybe it's cause you're using IE and not another, better browser?
Sam
No, really, crashes are a way of life for IE.
