Kids Fan controller

I just came across this item and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this type of item. I might buy it since it only costs $20. fan router

tell me if you have anything good or bad to say about it.

Xoxide is a good company and that product seems ok...looks neat and if it does its job then thats something I would buy.
No personal experience with this particular product though.
you can be the guinea pig on this one!

Where are you going to mount this? inside? in a 5 1/4 bay? looks like it might be a bit awkward...or am i not seeing it right?

Basically, it just sits in your case, controlling your fans. I'm not so hot about that product, or anything thermally-controlled. Give me a good rheobus and I'll be happy, since it's nice to be a control freak about your noise/airflow ratio. Crank it up during a LAN party when you OC. Lower it when you sleep. Have a contest to see who can get their fans spinning closest to their Dremels (35,000 RPM). (That would be SOOOOO cool)

Update: I saw this fan controller in action: It sits OUTSIDE your case in place of a normal baybus. Just thought I'd let y'all know.
