Dynamic Disk Problems - Please Advise

I good friend of mine has taken his main mail server and converted the primary hard to a dynamic disk to allow him to mirror the drives. He forgot to GHOST the hard drive first and Ghost does not work on Dynamic disk (at least we can't figure it out if it does) - any advice on what to do? I don't think you can convert a Dynamic disk back to a Basic can you?
Thanks as always for the help!!!

You can't convert back to basic without wiping everything on the drive. You can still create the mirror set. The mirrored drive is a essentially a backup. But you still want to Ghost the drive anyway?

meese - yes still need to GHOST the drive to make sure EVERYTHING is saved - my friend has spent a lot of time configuring his and that on his server and doesn't want to loose and patches or quick fixes he has stumbled across.
