Dsword is on a distinguished road
What to do for win2k...

I have xp home and despise it. I am thinkin about gettin 2k pro. I have looked at some of the threads on it and still didnt answer my question. What ill i have to do to put 2k pro on my computer. Just insert the cd and go or what else. thanks

back up all your favorites, words, mp3 and any other personal files
MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP EVERYTHING BECUASE YOU WILL HAVE TO FORMAT

insert cd follow instructions on the screen. simple

if it doesnt boot to cd make sure you have boot to cd first in the bios

alright, should i just buy a zip drive and save everythin i need to that? cause it would take like a million floppys

Do not buy a zip drive!
For only a little more money you can purchase a good cdrw and blank cd's.
Much more cost effective and long run

Yeah, what JPMiller said. Or you could even just pick up a 20 or 30 gig hard drive and throw your stuff on there. That shouldn't run you more than $30 or $40.

ok i have a cdrw but just got it so i dont kno how to put anything besides mp3s on there yet. so ill probably go get a 20 gig hard drive today.

what burning software you use?

most software have an option to format the cd-rw so you can just drag and drop files onto the cd-rw like a floppy
