Help with Excel VBA Script

I'm trying to write a script that does this...
If the Cell value="XYZ" then move to the next cell underneath the current cell, and I need it to be running while Excel is running.
Any idea on how to do this?

I'm not sure I follow you.

Are you saying that if they user clicks on a cell that contains "XYZ" then you want to move the selection down one row?

No, when the user enters XYZ I want it to move down a row.
What I'm trying to tackle is this, someone is scanning barcodes in excel but each time they scan it goes into the same cell unless they press enter. I wanted it to automatically go to the next cell.

oh yea it is a pain to open so just cancel past the password and wait it out. Dont worry I am perty sure it will appear in about a minute.
