Who is the best for registering a domain name and hosting the website?

I don't want a bunch of features just basic services.

I have never had one in the past so I need to get familiar with it first. Oh and I would prefer something that is windows based. I'm not ready for a unix server yet.

and then for the dns www.zoneedit.com

Godaddy is cheap just for registering, so use the free zoneedit for DNS. Has worked fairly well for a while, and they were recommended from here.

But, most nice hosting services you pay for will probably take care of domain name and everything.
