Network printer

I am having trouble installing printer on my network. I have gone thru previous threads but I am still having problems. I get to the point where it asks to install a driver for the other puter. It says "Please provide a printer driver. Type path where the file is located and then click OK " Where do I find the path. I have a win98 and Win xp.

Do you have the driver cd that the printer came with? If so insert it and specify the driver path on the cd.

If all else fails, go to the other PC, and add the printer from there. The only reason for adding drivers for other OS's is that it automates the process of adding printers to PC's that use those other OS's. If all you have is one, then it is not worth the effort. Just follow the add printer wizard and select network printer, browse to it and if the PC does not reconigize it then add the driver when promped. If you do not have the driver, then download it from the makers weg site.
