weird LANG folder on desktop

my machine has been doing all kinds of weird stuff of late.

so i did a repair install of win xp pro.

then a mysterious folder named LANG shows up on my desktop.

then machine freezes while crunching UD.

this morning i fired it up and lost my ability to enable my nic card.

so i did a xp "scan disk" with repair.

now everything seems to be working so far.

have to see if it still freezes with ud running,tho.

deleted the "lang" folder(it was empty)

things are still running smoothly.

i guess time will tell.

anyone else experience the mystery "lang " folder??

thats what its from,alright. my adaware prog is corrupted. i m gonna have to uninstall it and reinstall.
