FTP or HTTP?

want to download free Boorland5.5 compiler at Boorland.com site. not sure whether to choose FTP or HTTP link for my PC. any help appreciated.

Its not really a big difference, either will work fine

IE is a piece of junk and doesnt' support resume downloads anyways last I knew
(FTP supports resumeable downloads incase the downloads breaks in the middle, but I don't think HTTP does)

yeah FTP is more reliable I do believe
However, overall there's nothing critical for a particular system you need to know

Normally I don't worry about the download breaking but for some reason depending on what server I am downloading from, FTP seems to go a bit faster. (Not very much though)

FTP is faster. it's designed to be a little faster and handle more traffic than HTTP.
