EPoX 8RDA+ vs ABit NF7-S vs ASUS 87N8X

i was wondering which one is the best to get, and why. i looked at the specs and didn't see many big things other than the price. thanks

i think the best one is the one your pocketbook can handle .. meaning if you are low budget get the epox . otherwise i don't think you can go wrong with any of the of them .

1 thing of note is the abit and asus will do the 400fsb cpus amd is about or just put out . i don't think the epox does them . it has the same chipset as the other 2boards so it might be able to "officially" support it with a bios flash .

Welcome to TechIMO!

Like omardeth said, all are great mobos. If budget or OC is your game, get the epox. The asus is another rock solid mobo, its "gimmick" is dual LAN, if that means anything to you.

Yup. The only real difference is price. They are all great boards. I voted Abit since I have the NF7-S and am completely happy with it.

They are pretty close in terms of overclocking. What I like about Abit is that they have a fan on the NB. There isn't really any negatives about any so which ever you pick you'll be happy with.

I've got Asus here, I have'nt pushed it, but overclocks well for my needs, but from the info I've seen also go Abit or Epox for the hardcore overclocking.

I would choose the Abit or the Epox (which I own) over the asus for the overclockabiltiy w/ the higher core voltage options.
