Building a multimedia system

Howdy all,

I am building a multimedia system to use as a TV, digital video recorder, FM/MP3 stereo and internet box. Here is what I have now:

Maxtor 40 GB HD
Enlight Tower w/ 235watt power supply (suspect this will have to be upgraded)
ATI Radeon 7000 AGP w/ 32 MB DDR
Cendyne DVD-ROM
Floppy Drive
Keyboard
Mouse
256 MB PC3000 DDR Corsair RAM
18.1" Microtek LCD

Here is what I need still:

TV card capable of decoding HDTV and recording to the HD or CD
Motherboard capable of accepting AMD Barton 2500+
Barton 2500+
Heatsink and fan
Sound card and NIC if they are not on the MB
CD Burner (for now and DVD burner later)

I am trying to stay under $350. I have some ideas, but I would appreciate your thoughts. I plan to overclock the 2500+ to 2 Gigahertz, if that affects inputs.

Thanks,

RADAR

motherboard for budget but great over clocker is the epox ep-8rda+ has sound and nic onboard . get the retail xp 2500 and , if you want to go with a low prices hsf get the GlacialTech Igloo 2500 Pro or the vantec aeroflow . both are really quiet and highly rated . here is a nice review of 65 hsf combo's and the glacial tech hsf combo's are rated in the top 5 . as far a cd burner i would get one local you can always find one with a rebate so the after rebate price is 20$ or less . as far as the decoded i am no help there . but i did see a neat product at the computer show , fair geek show what ever you call it , they were saying it was tivo without the subcription . was a external box you hooked up to cable and let you record onto your pc from cable or dvd . was really neat . was 60$ i almost got one .

Thanks Omar!

I am looking at the Epox board. How is the sound quality onboard? I have some Labtech speakers with front and back channels and a subwoofer. Can it push both of the speaker pairs?
