screwed up display settings. Help!!

so i went into display>>setting>>advanced and in there I changed something that make the text screwedd up. If I set the text for large it is too big if i set it for small it is too small. If i set it at 100 it is still screwed up because the little task bar icons on the bottom right are still too small.

What exactly under the advanced tab have you changed? Did you try normal 96dpi?

On some monitors, upping the Refresh Rate will make text appear smaller...maybe you changed that?

I changed it to 96 but it wasn't a "normal" setting. there is only small 96 and 125 large. I pressed all the default buttons i could but still no luck. by the way i am using win 98. The only thing that is small is the toolbar in the bottom right corner, the scroll bar, and the min/max/exit bar in the top right. everything else seems unaffected.

Why did I go messing with this???
