What kind of router do you use?

Well, there has been a bit of discussion in another thread about the pros and cons of software versus hardware routers.

So here is a nice poll.

Post any comments, and let's see who uses what.

Cheers
Mick

I prefer a hardware router, while not the most configurable.. certainly the least trouble for the most part. (with exceptions of course) Also I don't have a spare PC to use as a firewall... and quite honestly no patience to learn to set one up
I SUCK at TCP/IP lol

I use the Linksys BEFSR41 4 port router/switch that serves my needs nicely.

A definite pattern emerging here.

(Apart from pyrosama, of course. )

I use an IPCop software firewall/router, mainly because I had lots of spare PC's and no money to buy a hardware router.

I like the ability to configure stuff with it, as well.

Oh, and it was free,

Cheers

I have the spare PC's... but I have the hardware router set up ( A nice little D-Link)...
4 port, plugged into the DSL line, 3 PC's and a 16port 10/100 hub.

Never cut me off without an ISP issue involved - perfection!

Same here, I used this router at our little office which has DSL (7 users with laptops that come an go from the office). Unfortunately I live in a broadband no fly zone so it's the dialup blues at home.
