windows 95 and windows xp network?

how do i network windows 95 with windows xp pro? the network setup disk only works with windows 98 and up.

i want to share my DSL connection currently on my xp pro machine with my windows 95 laptop.

i have an crossover ethernet cord connecting my windows 95 and windows xp pro machine.

i have the OEM version of windows. they recognize each other (in the ethernet cord connection) but i cant get on the internet with my 95 machine and the file sharing works on and off... i followed helmig's directions almost to the T, any suggestions/links?
