Email lists..... and spam..

How do you go about finding email lists.. I have a customer who wants to market a product and wants me to build a site or him..

And provide him with some email lists ???????

The problem i have with all this is: Is it spamming? or is thier a legitamate way of doing it.. Personally i hate SPAM and dont like it but this guy is not selling any sleazy product ..

Thanks All
Maty

ask yourself this...

Are you going to include your own email address in the list?

Vass exactly!!!

Spamming is down right rude , I cant stand it..

But is there a legit way of Doing it?

There are HEAPS of people taking advantage of it are they all getting email addys from anywhere they can find , like chat rooms, aol and hotmail...? wich i do not intend to do!!

Cheers
Maty
