Wireless and Cable Issues

Hey, I am running a cable internet connection over wi-fi and I am having a major problem. I am using a Microsoft MN-500 Base Station and MN-5XX Wireless Adapters. My cable provider is Comcast. My problem is that at random, the computers will be unable to access anything on the internet. I had this same problem for the first few days after the cable was installed, then it suddenly stopped. Normally, if I can't get online, all I have to do is reset the cable modem, but now, no matter what I do, I can't get on. The computers can commincate fine locally, but not to the internet. For a few minutes yesterday, I was able to get on, but the connection felt like it was running slower than the slowest dial up service I have ever used and the pages were loading incorrectly. However, if I disconnect the Base Station and plug my notebook directly into the Ethernet on the modem, it works fine. Help me out please.

Well, sounds like either someone else is using your cable connection...or your cable company has some problems.

Do you have a firewall installed somehow? I'd try calling your cable provider and asking them what's up.
