Ram Overclocking ?

I just read up on someone that overclocked their Ram , How do you do that ?

It's a feature you would set in your BIOS, most likely. You need to have good quality RAm most importantly and some peeps like to incorporate a Heat Spreader due to the extra heat generated.

Overclocking your RAM varies from MOBO to MOBO. It can be done by increasing the bus speed and decreasing timings. You can also increase voltages to get higher frequencies.
It all depends on the chipset and BIOS you have as to what settings can be altered.

IMO no. You will see higher benchmark results, but you will be unlikely to notice a difference in day to day computing.

I overclock my RAM as a result of overclocking my processor, the difference is miniscule.
