I posted with similiar problems with a linksys a little while ago (under a different name), and thought I got it cleared up by giving the router DNS addresses. Turns out that hasn't fixed the problem (though I can't imagine it's hurt anything any

)
I'm kind of curious about these other theories...

I don't think it's my ISP, because everything worked before I put the router in. Are there particular symptoms that I would know I'm losing service due to packeting? How would I fix it?

Again, everything was fine before the router (no wiring has changed since). Would the addition of the router change this? Or do you mean the cable between my computer and the router (which is the only new cable added)? If it matters, it's a 100ft cable.
Thanks for your time and help.
