visioneer 8100 scanner- down sizing pictures

Question about Visioneer 8100 scanner. How can I down size my pictures I scan to about 200 px so they can be sent faster and to certain pc's. Also how can I , if possible,send pictures to my photo max program. I am using windos 98 second edition. thank you for any help. "silkie"

I use Irfanview to manipulate size etc www.irfanview.com
(You can also scan directly into Irfanview)

Im sure you can dedicate PhotoMax to open your images directly by setting it as your main program to open all photos---or right click your image and choose from "open with"---give Irfan a try...

I use a Visioneer but not the included PhotoMax...

Yeah, when I scan pics in a scan them in as the highest res and then just chop them down to what I need in Photoshop, its a lot easier than using the actually scan interface type thing.
