Well if LEDs don't even light up, there are 2 possibilities : either their connector are reversed, or your power supply doesn't work.

Is the power switch connected correctly to the board ?

hard to reverse 20pin atx connector but your board might be shorting out on the case

does the green light on the bottom of the motherboard light up? That light tells you if the power is working.

This has gotten me once, make sure the power switch on the back of the power supply is on.

yea light is on 3.3 or 5v though so if you just shorted your 12 or only your 12 rail is bad it will still come on

cbuddha, I meant the 2 pins switch connector, not the power connector. If it's not on the 2 right pins it won't do anything.

Check Atomic Rooster's suggestion first, I think everyone has to make that mistake once.

Your father was a Hampster, and your mother smelt of elderberries.

How can a 5lb swallow carry a 10lb coconut? Maybe it was an African swallow.

Classic!

Sorry I can't help with your problem. But maybe I can make you smile.
