Libretto L5W and PC-Card HD

I just recently purchased a Toshiba Libretto L5W...one sweet machine. It's running a Crusoe 5800 processor @ 833mhz, 512 mb, and Windows XP. The system ships w/o a floppy drive, CD drive, or rescue disks. I want to image the machine using Ghost to create my own rescue disks but have had little success trying to do it over a LAN.

I have a Kingston Datapak (5gigs) PC-Card drive. The Libretto has a legacy driver that allows it to boot from the PC-Card and it does recognize the drive with no problem. I'm now trying to create a DOS boot disk so that I can boot from the PC-Card drive and run Ghost to create my image. I haven't found an app that is capable of creating a boot disk on anything other than a floppy drive. I've also tried WinImage; transferring the image from a DOS boot disk to the HD and that was a no go. Any suggestions? Any other L5/W users out there?

Can't you just toss a copy of Autoexec.bat, Config.sys, and Command.com from another system onto it?
