Systems FX5200 problem

just installed a PNY FX5200 dual display card. Had an ATI Radeo 7000. Since I put the card in, I have been having random reboots ever so often. I know that all the ATI stuff is gone and I have installed the newest Detonator drivers from nVidia. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

I put it in a MSI K7T 266A mobo running 768MB PC2100 Ram. (Simple Tech and Samsung). Heat levels appear to be within acceptable ranges. And, I have been running DirectX 9.0 for a while now even though my Radeon did not support it. No problems there I don't think because this card is supposed to natively support it.

Any ideas appreciated! I am going to be gone until late this evening. My son is going to watch it for me to see how often it does it at idle.

hmmm what is the power supply ? you might have to do a clean install of the os to get rid of all of the drivers from the ati . not sure but i have read that before . if that doesn't work my next guess would be heat , the 5200 runs alot hotter than the 7000 for sure . or the power supply just doesn't have the gumption to power the 5200 . whats you specs on your system ? whats the os ? power supply . give us all the specs .

just got in from WVa. Been driving about seventeen hours today. So, I will post the specs tomorrow. I can tell you quickly that I am running an Enermax 430W PS that has been rock stable for a year now. Also, I am running XP Home.

One observation, everytime it reboots is when Netscape is running. Everytime it has done it, someone was surfing the net with Netscape. Could there be a software problem here? Thanks for you patience on the specs. I will get them to you tomorrow.
