Mirai CRD-BP2

Hi, I have a Mirai CRD-BP2 SCSI CR-RW, and although the unit works fine, I cannot burn a Audio disc, DAO with no pauses between tracks. When using Easy CD 6, it will burn the tracks but will not close the disc, giving me this error's,

E80041899: Write error - buffer underrun occurred - [06/C5/00]
E80041925: TrackWriter error - Command retry failed - [T7118]

and Nero wont let me burn at all unless I have a 2 second pause.
I used to be able to do this in my old P3-800, but now I've upgraded to a P4-2.53, but nicked my SCSI drives.

Any help is much appreciated, as I'm running out of cups for all my coasters.

In this situation, I'd look to upgrade the firmware to your burner. This should be available from the drive manufacturer along with instructions on how to perform the upgrade.

I'd also look to update the ASPI layer. While this probably was updated at the time you installed EZCD creator 6, I'd go the manufacturers site of your SCSI card and look for the most recent one there and install that instead.

One other thing.......with previous versions of EZCD Creator and Nero, there were problems with having them loaded on the same machine at the same time. This may still be the case with their latest versions of software. Try uninstalling both packages, and then loading just one for use in CD mastering.

Thanks Target, unfortunately the Mirai site no longer exist's but I've found out the it's a renamed Sanyo drive, and found out I have the latest firmware, and the ASPI layer isnt available on the site, but I did find it. Wierd thing is though, I still get the error, but the CD must be closed as I tried it and it works on several CD players. I will try uninstalling both and only loading one, but Nero wont let me burn without a 2 second gap between tracks.

Thanks for you help anyhoo, we need forums like this.
