AT power supply mod

a friend of mine and I are modding his caseitsanold desktop AST rig nothing fancy but we wont to change the switch. the switch has 4 wires what is thepropper way to changethe switch out?

You're pretty much stuck with that switch unless you want to change it from a rocker to a pushbutton or vice versa.

Ok. I'll pull apart an old PC with an AT power supply in it. I do know if you get the wires crossed that it will blow a breaker in the house and it'll kill the power supply. Just a lil heads up.

Do you have access to a multimeter? If so you could use the ohms scale to test how the thing is wired.
