VooDoo 2 is PCI
Radeon 7000 is AGP

Theoretically yes...I've run a dual display on a GF3 and an ATi 3d Rage II just fine...

just put both cards in...when you get to Windows go into the Display Properties and the Settings tab...check the "extend my desktop.." ...whatever it says (I can't remember)...

You can also download UltraMon to give you a few more options for dual monitors...I don't have a link but you can find it easily with a search.

Is the Voodoo 2 the Banshee version?

The voodoo2 is a 3d only card. It cannot run any 2d desktop stuff. It's from the era before there where 2d/3d combo cards, and was used as an add-in card and required a 2d card to go with it.
So no, it will not work the way you are wanting it to.

Kruzin is exactly right. Unless you find a PCI VooDoo Banshee, you wouldn't be able to do that.

PCI Matrox cards are well known for working as secondary-display monitors, but some of the PCI ATi cards will work as well.

Does your Radeon 7000 not support dual screens anyhow?

As Peter said, most Radeon 7000 support dual screens on thier own, but they must have the necessary outputs on that card to do so.

Also, any PCI card, with the exception of the Voodoo and Voodoo2, along side another PCI or AGP card should be able to dual display. The reason these are exceptions is because these were the only PCI cards that were ever made without a 2D element (They are 3D accelerators, not Video cards).

A Voodoo3 and a GF4 should have worked without a problem, as long as they worked fine seperately. May have been a fault of outdated drivers from 3Dfx going under. I'd offer some advice on that, but its probably an out-of-date problem and way beyond troubleshooting now.
