How do you open this case?

My mom works at a skool. She braught this computer home for the summer(why is stil beyond me). She wants me to put a modem in it but i can not figure out how to open the dam case.
Anyone hvey any idea on how to open it?

The box appears to be a Compaq Evo d series. As soulja said, there are tabs you press on both sides of the box. Once the tabs are pressed, the panel can be removed. It does require a little bit of a push to get the tabs to go in.

some cases are just difficult to get open. My dad has an old desktop system like that that was a bit of a pain to get open.

Use a little logic, and a lot of brute force. Seems thats the way those case engineers were wired.

See if after you depress the buttons, swing from the front of the computer towards the back. It might stay on a hinge and just swing upwards to let you gain access to the internals.
