Outdoors i get disconnected from the internet like every 1-10 hours

ok when im at school or sum , i have the dsl running from 8:00 - 11:00p.m and when i wake up at 7:30a.m its still on but when i get home its still on and when i start surfing it will disonnect. like i look at pages, download a few and then if i stop for 5 mins boom, disconnected and reconects. why does it do this. i have Verizon Online DSL, and my speed is very constant at 731.4-9 like 731.5 is what i see most and when i open stuff like a live stream video or kazaa the bandwidth go down and then if i close it, it will go back up. but thats no the problem cause if i have it open or not it will still disconnect. and if i reboot and try to connect the Verizon Connect dialer frezes but if my modem is disconnected it will open right up quickly but when themodem is connected the dialer takes forever, now can someone tell my how do i get it to connect auto like if i connect the modem with the power cord or if i start my pc up like at windows boot it will connect so when i get to my desktop it will open the page and not sit there forlike 5 minutes before saying, do you wish to connect.

This will make your DSL act just like a dial-up connection.

Whenever you open your browser, it will connect, BAM!

I used to use it before I got my router, which has the option to PING every so many minutes to keep the connection alive.

All the stuff you're really interested in is at the bottom of the page.

You should have downloaded this then uncompressed it.

There will be 14 files. Go by the one that says "README2K.HTM" and it will give a you a step-by-step on installing it.

And then did you read the "README" that pertained to your system?

The 2K one is for XP and .NET as well.

The RASPPPOE is just to get rid of their silly dial-up manager.

It's basically going to turn your DSL connection into a DUN which can be used on-demand. That way you don't have to wait for their slow connection process.

It also has a "keep-alive" feature which you can use to keep your connection 24/7 and you won't get disconnected but rarely when your IP changes.
